There are many ways that we can help minimizing the effect of Global Warming; It all start with a subtle change. The change begins in your mind, when I was younger I cared about many things, what I wear, what I eat, what kind of car I drive, and where I live. Now I see that each of those questions is still important but along with the question I also ask what impact will it have on the environment.
Before I made a purchase on motorized shades for my home I researched the fabrics, I found out that many fabrics have that New Car smell and that it is also known as Off Gassing. Off gassing is the evaporation of volatile chemicals in non-metallic materials at normal atmospheric pressure. This means that building materials can release chemicals into the air through evaporation. This evaporation can continue for years after the products are initially installed which means you continue to breathe these chemicals as you work, sleep and relax in your home or office.
